        Careers at  American School of Ahmadi 

        The American School of Ahmadi (ASA) attempts to foster a love of learning and discovery in a co-operative environment. It promotes family participation in all aspects and offers continuous open communication between children, parents/guardians, and teachers. Families contribute to the direction of our school, and nurture a sense of community. ASA sees itself as a co-operative place where staff, children, people in parenting roles, and administration all contribute and respect one another. 

        Applying to American School of Ahmadi 

        More than 25 professional and experienced staff are a part of the ASA team. Being a professional teacher means being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about one's materials, creating a supportive and respectful classroom environment. This also includes building authentic relationships and advocating for students, being organized, planning ahead and remaining open to new ideas. 

        ASA is a huge advocate of diversity, and making a complicated subject matter an engaging and understandable experience for students.

        REQUIREMENTS 

        • Applicants should be native speakers of English, unless applying for Arabic, Islamic Studies, support staff 

        • Bachelor's degree from a North American, UK, Irish, Australian or New Zealand University in a subject relevant to the position 

        • Teaching license, endorsement or certification 

        • Minimum of 2 years’ of experience
